Sophistication Only
is a 2003 Chestnut stallion by leading AQHA Stallion
Invitation Only and is out of Sophistichip. His dam is by
AQHA's all time leading sire Zips Chocolate Chip. IN THE
FIRST THREE GENERATIONS OF HIS PEDIGREE HE HAS FOUR
NSBA HALL OF FAME STALLIONS (Invitation Only, Zips
Chocolate Chip, Zippo Pine Bar, and Hotrodders Jet Set)!
Sophistication Only, affectionately known as "Sie",
stands a little over 15.3 hands. His gorgeous looks and
conformation awarded him a Reserve Congress Champion in the
Lim. Amateur Performance Stallions (he was the highest
placing stallion on all four cards with a first on two
cards). The same year at the Congress he took his owner
Laura Bracken, who was five months pregnant with their
daughter Kenzie, to the finals in the Amateur Western
pleasure with over 100 entries.
Sie has a super laid back disposition and personality
that has led both his non pro owners to several wins in the
show arena in Western Pleasure, Halter, Showmanship,
Horsemanship, and Equitation.
His first foal crop was born in
2008. His owner Laura, who has won the NSBA World in lunge
line, said, "I can't wait to show his first foal born. She
is a big, wide, and strong filly that I call
Diamond! I have her on Sie's video lunging as a
weanling. She is so naturally talented!!!! She will
definitely be a show stopper in 2009 lunge line." This year
Gumz Farms will stand Sophistication Only. Amy Gumz's
professional approach with breeding horses is second to
none. We are truly blessed to have Amy and her team manage
Sie and his mares in Morganfield, Kentucky. His foals are
eligible for the AQHA incentive fund, NSBA incentive fund,
BCF futurity, Kentucky Breeders incentive fund, and the IQHA
breeders futurity.
